Staffing for shutdown maintenance
A short shutdown window needs a precise work scope. Publiq assesses tradespeople for maintenance and shutdown work in industry, oil and gas.
Background and requirements
Separate planned work from tasks identified only after opening or inspection. Specify which mechanical, electrical or piping packages are ready for staffing and which requirements remain uncertain.
From information to agreement
Allocate teams to packages and shifts. Identify who reprioritises work, how handovers are managed and which inductions must be completed before shutdown. A shared plan supports an assessment of additional capacity.
Should every worker start at the same time?
Not necessarily. Tasks may have different dependencies and access dates. A phased staffing plan can be more appropriate than a common start for every trade.
